I’ve been asked: ‘what about the old Jardin de France category?’
The old Vin de pays Jardin de la France has been replaced with VDP du Val de Loire. The minister concerned signed the necessary paperwork in May 2007. Apparently even the French didn’t know where the Jardin de la France was. This VDP region category covers most of the Loire Valley.
